You mindlessly walk the streets of Gotham. Minding your own business, as usual. Suddenly, there is a gang of thugs cornering you. They tell you to give out everything you have, your money, your phone, your watch and stuff. Well, you, the loser that you are, only have 20 bucks in your pocket, a worthless phone and by no means any other article of value.
So? They decide to humiliate you. They gang up on you, beat you up, rip your clothes from your body and kick you into oblivion. You're seeing stars! You're knocked out.
Only the giggling of a girl is pulling you out of unconsciousness. It is a laughter that kills you. You're laying there, naked. It's cold.
