The Christmas Curse
It began in the ancient land of Albion on the 25th day of the 12th month, the day most commonly known as Christmas. On this most special of days, the three mages of the Iceni finally brought the Evil Sorceress Doria to her knees and with it evil herself.
But Doria had been pouring her evil into Albion for centuries, creating famine, disease and disasters unimaginable. Seeking vengeance and against the advice of his three mages the Chieftain of the Iceni tribe wanted to display his prize, he had Doria's clothes cut from her and lashed her to a wheel, while his tribe celebrated beneath her exposed flesh.
Enraged by the humiliation Doria used the last of her power to curse Albion, so when the party that had given her grievous insult ended, a great evil would devour the world.
