First Date Chapters 1-3
The conversation got a little more natural as you looked over your menus. It turned out the two of you had a lot in common. Both of you had just graduated from college and were just starting your first real jobs. Both were coming off recent breakups from long-term relationships. Both were sports fans - although different teams. Things were beginning to flow almost naturally, when you noticed the look on Nikki's face. What was that look? Fear? Nerves? You were going to ask, but she started talking and you didn't have to.
"Look, I've got something I want to tell you, but I'm not really sure how to say it" she started.
"Just say it" you offered, hoping to ease her obvious tension. What could she possibly want to say that would have her this nervous?
