Frozen
This may not be traditional pain as such, more of a discomfort although you might get an headache especially if you were unlucky enough to start your spell of lock up in the middle of the winter.
You see if you want my ice cube today you will no longer be showering with hot water. You will quite literally shiver for that ice cube and it may seem pleasurable now but when you wake up on a cold winters morning and instead of jumping into a cold shower you have to suffer instead with ice cold water.
The second hot water from a shower touches your body the ice cube is revoked and you must cross it off your list.
