The fleet left a few days ago so there's no one up in space fighting for us.
Eden has a planetary shield which is currently taking the brunt of the Imperial attack, but it won't hold for very long.
We have ground-to-space defence systems which can take out minor spacecraft, but they're simply not powerful enough to penetrate the Imperial ship's shields.
That's where you come in, slave.
