Fine, you may have a momentary reprieve. Remain standing, but put the weight onto a table or desk so that it is suspended without tugging at the rope.

You may stay like that for up to 30 seconds, but in that time you must slap your balls 10 times, hard.

Once your time has expired and you've performed the 10 smacks, you must immediately pull away from the table, letting the weight fall and the rope become taut.

Hold it for another two minutes and then you may go either left or right.
