Cali had already told you she fantasized about you choosing her pleasure instead of your own. You knew what you had to do. You took one long look at the pill bottle, then dropped it in the box on her porch. Holding the lid open with one hand, you pulled out the padlock with the other. You closed the lid slowly, watching the bottle vanish away in the shadows. The lid closed with a soft thud. To you it sounded like the clanging bars of a prison door.
You thought of Cali again. "Anything for you" you said out loud. Then you locked the padlock on the box.
"Anything for you." And you walked away.
Once you got home, you sent Cali a text message to say you were sorry and to ask her to check the box on her porch. You had done everything you could. You had given her full control of your every desire. You just hoped it was enough.
