After who knows how long, you heard the front door open. It must be Cali! You were starting to have crazy hopes - maybe she didn't know about Jessie's orders! Maybe she would just find you tied down and think everything was fine! Yes, you could get out of this maybe!
As the bedroom door opened you could hear Cali talking ... but she wasn't talking to you.
"Seriously?? No way! Ok, well I'm just walking in there now, so ... no, I don't see it."
Oh shit. You heard her walking around the bed.
"Wait, no there it is, on the floor. ... No they're on the bed, but not on him."
