Oh yes, I forgot to tell you, you’ll again be asking someone to help you find your item.
Have you found a store? Even if you’re not sure that they carry your size, you will go to the store. Once you are there, go straight into the women’s department. Someone should be along to help you. If they don’t approach you, you will approach them. You will start off as honest as you can be.
“Yes, I need to find a pair of shoes. I think I’m a women’s size (your size), do you carry any heels in this size?”
At that point, the person helping you may have a delayed response. Wouldn’t you in their shoes? A grown man with freshly manicured nails just asked if they could find him some heels in his size…
Face it, you’ll be publically branded again…
