Nineth Ten Minutes

Let's play a nice game in these Ten Minutes. Go to http://a.bestmetronome.com, and look at the 32 available speeds. In this round all of them represent five seconds of stroking at that speed. You will start at 100 bpm and click on the next faster speed after five seconds, stroking faster over time.

You're goal is to take longer for edging every round.

So after you edge, cool down as long as you want and then restart at 160 bpm until you edge again. But make sure that you reach at least one speed setting faster than the last time you edged. If you break the cycle by edging too soon, that edge doesn't count for your points total and the stage is over (eg if you edge three times and then edge too fast on the fourth, collect the points for "3 edges", not 4).

Count how many edges you can do this way in these Ten Minutes.

0-2 edges: 10 penalty edges
3 edges: 1 point, 7 penalty edges
4 edges: 2 points, 4 penalty edges
5 edges: 4 points, 2 penalty edges
6 edges: 6 points
7 edges: 9 points
8 edges: 13 points
9 edges: 15 points
10+ edges: 20 points

Hint: Find the right ammount of time to pause (not too short, so you won't edge too quickly - and not too long, so you can get many edges in in these Ten Minutes) and try to edge as soon as possible in your first try.
