Revenge
You have no idea who is walking with your wife but you are very relieved that she is not the woman you cheated on her with. You watch them and try to play it cool. They seem to be smiling so you smile back to hope she is just an old friend. The walk across the street seems to take forever like it is moving in slow motion.
They finally reach you in front of the locked door and the smiles immediately fade into serious hardened faces of two pissed off women.
Your wife stares at you with a demeaning look and you can now actually hear your own heart beating. Then she speaks....
"Joseph, this is my attorney, Carrie. Carrie, this is my scumbag cheating husband, Joseph"
You are frozen with fear and can't look away from your wife, Lisa. Than Carrie speaks in a sarcastically sweet voice.
"Hello Joseph, I would say it's nice to meet you, but I'm about to ruin your day". Then her voice becomes more stern and demanding as she orders, "Wait here, we will let you inside in about ten minutes".
They unlock the door and go inside.
