Once he's done, maybe it's time to tell him the rules. You two are going to be taking turns "edging" each other. Each little session will have to be at least as many edges as the previous, but no more than twice as many. So for example, say he edged you 4 times to start. Now that you're working on him, you'll be bringing him to the edge at least 4 times, but no more than 8 times. And if you choose to do all 8, then he'll need to edge you at least 8 times, but no more than 16 times. Then switch again. Get it?
Whoever gives in first is the loser. Now, depending on how stubborn you both are, this can escalate to quite a lot of edging! You should let him use a vibrator if it gets to the point where it's hard to get you to keep edging without one.
And if you get to the point where your hand or mouth is too tired but you still have to edge him a bunch, then have him edge himself, with your instruction. THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH THIS! Having him stroke himself in front of you can be JUST as exciting!
What is unacceptable is for either party to give in because they got tired of "giving;" the idea is that one party gets to the point where they can no longer stand "receiving" without getting an orgasm.
