So, my idea is that I'm going to help you get into the story more, by substituting the word "you" instead saying "Tom" or "my husband". That way you can imagine you are part of the story more easily, OK?
[I protested that this would be horribly confusing for the readers of JISSIHM, but Dr. Pavlova simply waited until I gave up protesting, and then she continued her story. So, from now on the reader will have to know that "you" refers to her husband, Tom Swift. I hope the reader can keep this in mind, as personally I had a very *hard* time because of it!]
