Hi,
Just FYI, my "Deal or No Deal" teasing game is now available on cheggit at:
http://cheggit.net/torrents.php?torrentid=46988
Most of it was posted in my Yahoo Group awhile back, but one of the teases was to big to share there.
Alternatively, you could grab just the files missing from the Yahoo group as follows:
Grab these and put them in fscommand/sounds/
http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/9/1/1400047/1.mp3
http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/9/1/1400047/2.mp3
http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/9/1/1400047/3.mp3
http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/9/1/1400047/4.mp3
Grab these and put them in fscommand/
Rename 8.bbb to 8.bat and rename 8.eee to 8.exe (Fileden won't let me share .bat or .exe files)
http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/9/1/1400047/8.bbb
http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/9/1/1400047/8.eee

Ei, great work.
your teases are aswome!!
But, I get a white screen when run the 8.exe file
- I use Windows XP
- All files are in correct folder
- I try run 8.exe direct and in the DealOrNoDeal_v1.exe screen (is the only one which call a no-powerpoint file).
What I do wrong?

Thanks avatarbr. Glad you like my teases.
Not sure why you're having a problem with #8. It seems to be working OK for other people. It is the only numbered tease that isn't a powerpoint. It's another flash-based tease. I don't know why you'd have a problem with it if the main file (DealOrNoDeal_v1.exe) is working OK.
Maybe there was a problem w/ your download. Did you get it from Cheggit or from fileden?
Either way, If you right-click on 8.exe and pick Properties, you should see:
Size: 10.2 MB (10,797,455 bytes)
Size on disk: 10.3 MB (10,801,152 bytes)
Maybe the download didn't complete properly?

I would love to get this game, but of course cheggit doesn't have open registrations at the moment. eteased, you wouldn't have any invites available would you? Otherwise, what yahoo group has the rest of the files required?
Thanks, jesse

The Yahoo Group is:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/eTeased
Most of the tease files are there; the rest are at the fileden links.
I don't think I can help w/ you Cheggit, though.

Tried this one out yesterday. Really fun and a very interesting variation to the usual teases. Thanks for sharing! :)
Download of 8.exe / eee

I love the deal / no deal game - but I can not seem to download the large 8.exe. This might be the best tease of all . . . lol. The download starts but freezes right about at 1 MB from the fileden link... any thoughts?
Unfortunatly that file is also not on the Yahoo groups site - due to size, and the Cheggit site is not accepting registation.
Any ideas would be much appreciated?

Thanks Holdingout1. Sorry to hear that you're having trouble getting tease 8. I just tried downloading it from fileden myself and it worked fine. So, my only suggestion is to try that one again.
Or you could wait and try to get into cheggit. To be honest, I have no idea if it's tough to be one of the next 250 or not.

So, are those six files the only files one needs to run this?

Can I suggest putting the torrent up on an open service, for example
http://thepiratebay.org/
As far as I know, they have no limitations on registration. As long as you're using decent torrent software (I recommend utorrent if you have windows) it shouldn't matter where the torrent is hosted.

No, you need a lot more. The rest are available at the Yahoo group or as part of the torrent from Cheggit.
I can look into that.
