Lots of posts have disappeared. what has happened to them and will they be coming back lazarus style?

I'm not sure what happened, but Milo was down for awhile earlier. I noticed that some posts I read yesterday were marked "unread".

I checked the logs and none were deleted by the team. I moved your post here so seraphOx would be more likely to see it.

Looks like we lost some data during the downtime this morning. I'm going to have to try to manually restore it. (This happened once before.)

Watch this space for updates.

Edit: I should be able to take a look at the issue this weekend.

Not sure if this is helpful or not but if you take a look at http://www.milovana.com/forum/viewtopic ... 5&start=15 you'll find, on page 2 and 3, four duplicates. It's almost like it recognized the gap and tried to fill it as best as possible. So I'm pretty sure it's safe to say that four posts are missing(replaced) from that thread. It's weird but at least the spots are reserved.

It also affected private messages but not in the same way. No duplicates just missing messages.

I restored the missing users - email [email protected] if I forgot somebody.

Now looking at posts and PMs - this part is going to be trickier...
