Apologies to all who were looking for notes/assignments or communications from me yesterday
the entire server was down
even back up computers were not working.

here is the note from my provider

Network Outage
Our upstream provider, Cogent Communications, had an equipment failure at 1102 Grand in Kansas City Missouri It took down the entire network!

For obvious reasons, I've always mistrusted Missourians. Anyway......

It took a couple hours to debug the problem because there were two upstream service providers involved, but everyone worked together nicely and we got things back up in a reasonable time frame.

We'd love to have a redundant link to KC, but L3, Sprint, AT&T all provided price quotes in excess of $15,000/Mo, which isn't affordable.

Anyway, sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

I've heard of a Doctor's Note, but this is the first time I've ever seen an ISP's Note...

That is correct
and also I wanted everyone to know I was unable to access services

I had several people when did not receive assignments
as well as a report for me that also was not able to be turned in on time.

Basically it is saying Most of the eastern portion of a state was without internet
so this was NO small thing.

many businesses suffered because of the outage.
