Lag at the site

The forums are sporadically laggy for me recently. Only seems to be this site and others have been double posting lately so I don't think it's on my end.
Not sure if that's something you can look at or if it's just the internet.

Traffic has been rising constantly since we started this site, so every few weeks I'm on the server optimizing the site one way or another.
Long story short: We're reaching our limits at the moment, but a secondary server is being planned and we hope to have a permanent solution shortly. Until then... I've just done a bit more fine tuning.
The most logical location for this server would be in the US. Whether this will be possible is mostly a legal question.
