In a darkened room your eyes will actually adjust to the light levels, it's only in an area of pitch blackness that you would be truly unable to see, so in an underground mine for example.

dark doesn't mean pitch dark, and the sources of light may be different, even the moon outside provides enought light to see quite good detail.

Okay I just have to say that is one heck of a dream Yoshi I for one think that this was well written and of course your English is not perfect but I think that it is still pretty good for a second language. I think that the story is perfect as it is. I understood he meant that the rom was low lighted so I think that is not really a snag in the flow of the story. I found the use of "my Domme " slightly repetitive but not really a problem either just a personal thing.

All in all a lovely story and I am glad you chose to post this dream of yours
