I find many of these entertaining, but seldom erotic. More of a what-the-fuck type of entertainment. That said, more power to anyone who enjoys them. Everyone has their niche.

Japanese porn is surely a single place where you can find lots of things that are NEVER done anywhere else.

A few things to help you understand:

1. There is a culture war in Japan that has been raging on for some time, between an extremely repressionist attitude VS a freespirited do-what-you-want-damn-what-everyone-else-thinks one. On one hand, you can't even admit you like video games to your boss, but their TV is some of the zaniest entertainment you can find.

2. Some of them have a REALLY good sense of humor, and are willing to make fun out of anything, even sex.
