How much time do you spend masturbating?
Do you do a lot of edges?
Do you have an orgasm?
This however does not include
people who are caged
who can also have "fun" and be tormented, for minutes, even over an hour a day.
As long as you are not:
risking arrest, missing work, destroying time with friends/family
feel free to masturbate as much as you want (or are allowed)

May be one or two times a week. But I don't usually knock one out for the sake of it.
If I'm feeling horny like that, I'll stretch it out, looking for some material to enjoy. Like a tease, an MI vid, or just some decent porn. I try to make it build up to something worthwhile in the end.
One exception is if I can't get to sleep, which isn't all that often to be fair (maybe a couple of times a month). But if I have work in the morning and have to get some kip, I will sometimes knock out a quickie to help me get to sleep afterwards. But I don't like doing it that way, because it seems like a waste.

For me it varies a lot. Some times work keeps me nearly asexual and in other periods I can do multiple sessions a day...

For me (for the time single) it´s a periodically thing....
Sometimes I feel like I have to act the urge out and just have to orgasm at least once, more probably 3-4 times a day - depending on my time-schedule... ;)
I even tried to max it out, like Bill wrote. And although I don´t remember the number of orgasms, I had, I still know, I definitely wasn´t looking for one single more at that and the following days.... ;)
But mostly I´m into denying myself, by masturbating, prolonged teasing and edging myself alot without having an orgasm at all - keeping myself horny...
Stimulating myself for hours a day, as far as possible....
Until I really can´t take it anymore and I will go into "orgasm-frenzy-mode" again for a few days... :)
About the "too much - thing":
As long as you don´t have a Mistress, who likes, and whom you want, to control your orgams, I don´t see a reason to restrict them, as long as masturbating yourself doesn´t affect your life in a negative way - just like sexual-choc wrote.... !

Usually once or twice at night couple nights a week I don't masturbate every single day. I agree as long as you are not messing up friendships and missing work being with family nothing wrong with doing it as much as you want.

Usually about once a week, typically on the weekend, though sometimes I'll make a bit of a game of it -- edging a couple times, playing through a denial tease, or inflicting a little self-punishment -- prior to release, so that can bump up the average. Yes, this is my Saturday night *Sigh*
