When did you all lose your virginity?

Hi! I was wondering when you all lost your virginity? Or when do you think an appropriate age for that is? and the story behind it.
I'll go first, I lost my virginity at the age of 15 to a 17 year old boy I had been dating for 2 months. (We dated for 8 in total, until he left for university, whichwas halfway across the country.... we still hang out and SOMETIMES hookup now) I was very nervous to lose my virginity, I was scared of how much it would hurt...and trust me... it hurt a lot. We had talked about losing our virginities to eachother a lot though, so on valintines day he gave me a coupon book while I was over in it was a coupon that said "My V-card" I immediatly ripped it out and said "I wanna use this one" he responded back with a kiss, and eventually we fucked all nice.
I belive you should only be able to lose it at 15 IF youre in a commited relationship with a guy who is not going to fuck you over. I am really hypocritical though to girls who do at that age, even though I was so happy to have lost it to someone I truely cared and do care about.

Despite what some folks may say on this subject, unless and until the laws change, I am voting for 18.
Prior to that, at least where I am from, its simply not legal...not to mention imo, wrong. There will be exceptions to the reasoning both for and against, but in the end, at least here, prior to 18, you am jailbait.
If it were my daughter, well, even if Junior was under 18 too, he would need to hide very very well from me.

I was nineteen, and she was twenty. Guess that's a bit late? I never gave it any thought.
The story was, we both really liked each other, good friends etc. But she had a boyfriend. So no-go territory right? She didn't really see it that way. One night when we were alone she jumped me and well...you can guess the rest.
On the plus side, every sub's dream come true. On the other hand my first time was also my last time which kind of sucks. (Turns out being a sub is a big turn-off for most women, who'd have thought?)
On the subject of age, where I live it's 16. And I think that's okay. Most people are independent enough by that age to decide for themselves. So long as they went to sex ed in school it should work out fine.
Despite what some folks may say on this subject, unless and until the laws change, I am voting for 18.
Does that mean if the law changed you would automatically agree with the new law?

Still a virgin, where did it all go wrong
In my opinion the legal age should be 16, the key is you have educate these kids instead of pretending like sex is unnatural or is taboo.

anything under 18 on this site
this has to do with the guidelines of this site
and the laws under which it is established
I am not "mad"
at you but will let you know
I will be writing our site administrator about your post.

Several people messaged me about this post - as long as "itlikeitrough" is over 18 now it should be fine to discuss issues like legal age of consent or when you think people should lose their virginity. The only thing I'd ask is do not encourage people to break the law or put themselves at risk. Also: Tread carefully, when it comes to this subject - for example, if you post a graphic description or any kind of details like that, you'll still be insta-banned.
So my response to the OP would be: I'm personally ok with kids between 16-18 having sex as long as they practice safe sex and as long as it's legal where they live. It's more a resignation though than anything - I simply don't have any good suggestions on how to stop kids from having sex. Parents should encourage them to wait, but I don't think it makes much sense to punish them by law after the fact.

I think this post is great and am glad that seraph0x did not get rid of it. *smile*
My story...not a pleasant one.....I lost mine at sixteen. It was all done and over in just a few minutes.
I was with an abusive boyfriend and because I didn't have the "cherry popping" experience.....it didn't go well for me.
Now, enough about that.....
I am the mother of a sixteen year old guy, that is still a virgin. Until the past few months, I didn't think he was ready. But he has matured a lot and I believe that if it were to happen now, that he could handle the emotional things that go with having sex.
I do not believe there is an age when someone should be allowed or not allowed. I believe it should be based individually, based on if the person is ready for all that goes with a sexual act, both physically, mentally and emotionally.

Sex Before the legal age of consent is NOT encouraged whatsoever on this post, as it is illegal.

First of all, the OP clearly posted about when people lost their virginity - and it's a massive derailing to have this thread go down the drain of the old "age of consent" discussion again. And even more so to discuss rules for this site. Three completely different topics.

This has nothing to do with you in particular seraph, but I have a general pet peeve with what you just wrote.
"Kids should wait as long as possible before they have sex" seems to be one of those "truths" people take for granted, often without second though or debate at all. My stance on that is; WHY? Give a good thinking through before jumping to such conclusions!
For my own part I'm sure I would have felt the same for my own kids, wanting them to debut as late as possible. But again, WHY? Why is it that parents seem to think it is such a disaster for kids to have sex, or from the other angle, why it is so beneficial to debut at a higher age... I just don't see any real reasons for that, but I'm sure I'd been a hypocrite and done the same myself. But it is lame.
Is it any filthier for young teens to have sex? Of course not.
Is it any more dangerous? Of course not.
Back on topic: 15

OP asked us what age we considered appropriate, it's not really off-topic. You may post without fear!

In the UK the age of consent is 16, which I think is a fair age. I don't think it is possible to say a definitive age where it is appropriate to begin having sex. The most sensible thing to say would be "when one is ready" Some people develop earlier than others and therefore have sex earlier. I think more important is that teens do it in a safe environment and using protection of some kind. Sex education is paramount in this.
But at the end of the day there is only so much experience one can impart to someone in a classroom.
The only source of knowledge is experience.
Albert Einstein
We have to let the younger generations make their own mistakes, and that includes sex.
