Loss of CH Files

I have noticed a lot of CH files having to be uploaded again.
If the posters have a free registration they will find their files will stay for a very long time.
I have some been their since September.
Without anything like the traffic CH files have.

Of course they may have been pulled for content so I suggest using 7zip to password protect the files from casual scrutiny.

Keep up the good work.

Using bit torrent for this purpose would make a lot of sense - generally far better with p2p networked distribution compared to using a central hub

Only challenge is to keep enough people seeding over a long period of time in order for the videos to still be downloadable months and years from now.

That's not the ONLY challenge. But it's always a primary challenge with setting up any small nexus of users intended mostly for file-sharing. Everybody fades off into the sunset ... I know I will.

Which other challenges would there be? As long as the original uploader and as many others as possible keeps the torrent seeded that's all there is to it :)

I intend to make the other CH material available as torrents as well, so time will tell how it works out

I have started a general CH torrent thread where I will be uploading torrent files for the different CH series... I'll keep them seeded, but it's important that others do as well ;-)
