This is truly great. I wonder if the site (milovana) itself could use this player when someone tries to play a flash tease on a device that is incapable of it (like an iPad or iPhone)?

On an iPhone the page seems to be scaled accordig to the image, so you have to scroll down to see the text. Also timers don't display as bars, but as percentages. Would be awesome if you could fix these somehow!

I don't like having to scroll down everytime, especially if you have to be quick or are doing a quiz.

Great work :-)

Simple teases work just fine, but more complex teases don't seem to work... (e.g. "The One In Vegas", "The Maze Of Lust", "The Pornstar is Right!", "The Mysterious House", "Games Room - Edge Game" or "House of Tease 3").

I know these challenges from TeaseMe ;-) And they can be solved... so keep up the good work.

That would be great, yes!

You should also be able to use the bookmarklet on iPhone and iPad like this (this is how I use it):

one time setup steps:
1) Load http://milovana-html5.appspot.com/welcome on in Safari on iOS
2) Click and hold the textbox that says "javascript:...", click "select all", click "copy"
2) Click the share button on the midle bottom
3) Select "Add Bookmark"
4) Select "Save"
5) Go to bookmarks (the little book on the bottom bar)
6) click edit on the bottom left
7) click your new bookmark ("Experimental ..")
8) Paste to the field with the internet address ("http://milovana-html5..") by "select all", then "paste".

using the html5 player
9) To use, load the tease you want on milovana.com (even if it's flash and wouldn't play), go to bookmarks and click your new bookmarklet.

Sounds good to me. A full screen picture and then you scroll down to read the text.
Finlander, what do you think would make it work better ? I like the high-resolution pics on iPhone. Keep in mind that layout would need to work for all kinds of teases.

BTW, thanks you so much for the feedback! My first goal was to make most of the teases work and I want to adress all the issues you mentioned. The list is a good starting point to make sure every webtease works as expected. I will let you know when I update the player so you can try your favorite again to check if it works.

Classic teases don't load at all on my iPhone! It's just stuck at "Loading...".

I don't know about a better scaling method, really. What if the buttons were always visible (glued to the bottom of the window)?

I just fixed that. I made some adjustments earlier to support more flash teases and must have introduced a bug. Happy classicteasing!

I made a couple of improvements:
  1. more support for complicated teases that use range(), mult(), vert(), horiz(), etc. (not all of them yet, please let me know if your favorite tease is not working)
  2. Much niceer CSS iPAD layout in landscape mode (works on desktop computers too)
  3. audio support for classic teases: http://milovana-html5.appspot.com/milovana-14400 (takes a little to download the audio file, hang in there!)
  4. audio support for flashteases: http://milovana-html5.appspot.com/milovana-4113 (audio is on page 7)
Please report any teases that don't work or work in other ways than expected!

Most teases from my last post are still not working. Same with Under My Control... But these are the most complicated teases on Milovana.

I just made another release with some Iphone specific additions, you can now add a webtease to your homescreen on iPhone (also works on some Android phones) like this:

(using http://milovana-html5.appspot.com/milovana-3191 "Piper - you are in Trouble!" as an example here clik on the images to view larger)

Image Image Image Image Image Image

Also, you will notice you can now swipe the page to the left to go to the next page.

all the best,
tommy

Having trouble loading any teases on iPhone.

"Not found. Perhaps the tease does not exist yet, is private, hidden or has been deleted."
