I mostly download the low quality so I don't have to download a gig and a half of film.
It's very nice quality, and very pretty to look at (I'm sure some people think it's worth while), but I'll stick with the LQ.

I love the Cock Hero videos, but I have beef:

The Cock Hero video format is a completely different category than traditional teases and flash teases. I feel it is bad practice to organize and rate them among the other teases on this site. It first occurred to me when I saw a Cock Hero video win TOTM. I wonder if a classic tease deserved the spotlight, but lost because Cock Hero delivers content and experience that other teases cannot. Like a featherweight boxer crushed by the heavyweight.

If these video teases were categorized differently, they would be easier to browse, and they could be rated separately. There are a growing number of users contributing this type of tease, and maybe one day some clever programmer will devise an editor to create them more easily.

Whatever happens, Cock Hero seems to be a good thing, and I can't wait to see where all this goes.

Edit: Also, high quality is the way to go because I keep what I download.

Cock Hero vids should have their own TOTM category, but there is barely one, if any, videos produced each month; nothing quite like winning by default. I guess they could move the videos over to a Video Tease Of The Year (VTOTY) or Video Tease of the Season (3 months: VTOTS) type of thing, excluding them from the traditional TOTM. Some classic teases have people watch low-resolution videos from some link the user has to surf to, so videos are used in classic teases to some extent as well.

As for browsing, there is a tag system, that can do that, and probably most cock-hero teases are already appropriately tagged.
About TOTM: I don't even get, why there is a separate TOTM-category for flash teases. There are even different categories of classic teases (story teases, teases with instructions, audio teases, classic interactive teases (go to page x), ...) and there is no separate TOTM for them either. TOTM is about rewarding the most popular content of the week. CH-Videos aren't winning TOTMs all the time, so I don't see any conflict anyway.

I'm not commenting specifically on the Cock Hero madness currently sweeping the board, as personally, I don't see why all the fuss. Seems like a very vocal few are making a mountain out of a mole hill to me, but everyone's entitled to their opinion.

I did want to say though, that what you mention is supposed to be at least one of the features included in the new tease system that Seraph0x has been fiddling with. So at some point in the future, I'm sure you'll find that video teases aren't quite so rare as they are now. Several web tease authors have been slightly annoyed by Nyx's inability to support adding videos, so I'm sure once we can, there'll be an explosion of them.

Several reasons why I don't like CH...

- I'm bi; I look at all parties involved when I watch porn. CH seems to mostly include just girls, from what I've seen.
- There's no story or plot at all...it makes everything seem pretty impersonal, so I have trouble "getting into it"
- The video is rather boring. I would prefer things a bit more "hardcore".
- The music isn't much to my taste either (although I should admit that most of what I like probably isn't suitable for CH)
- This is by far my biggest gripe...it's essentially just stroking. I like a lot of variety, with a heavy emphasis on D/s and S&M. Plain old masturbation doesn't do much for me.
- More of a comment on the series in general: it seems to be the same thing over and over. If you've done one, you've done them all.

Cool Alliteration, really appreciate the reply to my inquiry.

Everyone has their own tastes and preferences and I can see why you dislike the Cock Hero series, as the CH series of videos are more tailored to the those who only like seeing women for the most part. I think there's been a couple of video editors who have been working on gay and shemale version though I don't think they've come out at this time.

I completely agree with your analysis regarding the CH series having "no story". Part of it is I think the CH video teases are about relatively quick gratification - sexy video imagery helps with that. But I think a couple of new CH creators have started implementing story elements into the videos; utopia, for one, has introduced a "host" to narrate the videos and introduce minor plot elements to his video tease series, 'Mr. Edger'. Not exactly huge storybuilding with thick plotlines, but an example that some CH editors are trying to add new elements from the usual "stroking" video sessions.

Alliteration, you may want to check out Vindicare's latest version, Cock Hero Flux 5 - there's quite a bit of hardcore, venturing into some of the more "extreme" hardcore content. I haven't checked it out recently, but I think he added some light elements of pain as well in that video.

As to why I personally like the Cock Hero series, there's a couple of reasons:

Well, while said fervor can be a bit annoying at times, I mostly ignore it. I guess the problem is that "hate" isn't really an accurate description of how I feel about it.
