Shrink film/wrap as corset????

So this is a little off the wall, but here in the northern US it's getting cold outside and lots of people winterize boats by covering the tops with a plastic material and then heating it to shrink to a very form fitting cover.
Naturally, any erotic sole immediately looks at that material and thinks of several bondage applications, as well as fetish clothing.
Has anyone every seen or heard of a heated shrink wrap material being used for corsets, catsuits, bondage, etc....?
Obviously the shrink temperature point is key and it couldn't be too hot or it could burn the person.
Any experience would be appreciated!

Shrink wrap shrinks, melts, and burns very quickly. The only way to not burn shrink-wrap would be to use a candle held an inch or more away from the wrap for about a second or so. Due to the melting, it would feel like being covered in hot wax, and not feel at all like a corset.
In short, not likely, but maybe if you use an extreme amount of shrink wrap. Whatever you try with burning shrink wrap, I recommend trying on a plastic doll first. Always better to accidentally catch a plastic doll on fire, rather than a real person.

He is talking about shrink wrap, not plastic wrap. They are two totally different things.

In the Northern U.S. people also apply shrink wrap to their windows to winterize their houses. The shrink - wrap is applied to the window with tape and fitted with a hairdryer or heat gun. I've applied it to my windows and the chances of it starting on fire are minimal especially if you use a hairdryer. You would probably have to be more cautious with a heat gun. It comes in different quantities to accommodate different size windows. It's available at most stores in Minnesota.

I don't know if its strong enough for a corset but its something you could look into. I'm sure if applied correctly it could be used for some sort of bondage or mummification.

Thanks for the comments.
Yes, safety is my first concern which the why I posted.
There is pallet/stretch wrap, and then yes there is actual shrink wrap that is applied with a heat gun. I have searched and have not found any applications of heat shrink wrap, so it must take too much heat to be applicable on people.
My thought was if people work hard at producing great form fitting corsets or bondage suits, what could be more form fitting than something shrunk to your form? hehehehe
I will keep doing some research.
Thanks all

If it was a one time thing, I think you could use ace bandages or cut up a shirt or other bit of thin but sturdy cloth, wrap it around you, then you could wrap plastic wrap or shrink wrap around and around until it was quite tight and secure it. then, you could try adding heat either as you go or at the end. dont know, just something that came to mind reading this.

I think the big issue is that skin needs to "breathe" (Myth-busters should really test this). If it needs to breathe, something being very form fitting, and not breathable, would be bad. You could try poking needle pin holes into the shrink wrap after you've shrunk it down.

Busted
Jamie was covered in gold paint from head to toe and lasted over an hour without reporting any major ill effects, besides a slight (and temporary) flu-like feeling, as he described it
The myth stated that the actress portraying the gold plated woman in Goldfinger, Shirley Eaton, died as well. Ms. Eaton did survive the filming of Goldfinger and went on to appear in many more feature films and a segment for the show in which she confirmed she was still alive.

Not sure if someone has mentioned this, I know it is not the heated kind but....
I have "played" with this material in the past and as long as you use care it is a FUN product.
No heat, no glue, no sticky mess....
