Well, you answered my question. I was wondering if Thanksgiving was celebrated in other parts of the world. Evidently it isn't.

Its the official start of the holiday season in the United States. Its also the start of chaos, stress, and mass consumerism in the lives of many U.S. citizens.
As for Black Friday, another U.S. invention, I'm a advocate of buy nothing.
