I've been a long time lurker and really enjoyed this site. I've learned a lot over the years.

A science teacher explains the evolutionary forces behind porn's appeal, how the brain changes in response to super-normal stimulation, and what makes today's porn different from static porn of the past. For more, visit "Your Brain On Porn"

You could actually use this information to quit porn or even make teases more powerful. The videos talk about dopamine and explains a lot about why tease and denial is so erotic.

I met an amazing girl and one of the last addictions I felt I needed to fix was my porn addiction. They say the fastest way to recovery is no porn or masturbation. Kinda ironic isn't it? It's like chastity is your best way to quit. Maybe my brain knew something all along.

I went about 30 days before my first relapse and I felt better in numerous ways. Much more motivated to do other things and happier in general. I figured I should share it with others and they may learn a thing or two about themselves.

Masturbation is healthier than abstinence.

So tell me something I didn't know already. :smartass:

Product marketers and TV writers have been known this for at least 40 years, probably more.

That video link you posted can be summed up in two words - sex sells. The video, by the way, is a great way to treat insomnia.

Yes, the eye opener for me was a one night stand where I couldn't get off. The girl eventually just gave up. My erection was not very strong at all either. They mention the erectile dysfunction that porn can cause and I've experienced it but I'm only in my 20s.

With an ex girlfriend I've had to fantasize about porn while having sex to get off. She was amazed how long I could last. It was quite the opposite of when I first started having sex. I use to have an orgasm rather quickly but in like 5 minutes I was ready to go again. Where as now I'd have to wait another day.
