That sounds more like extortion than D/s, to be honest. Would you buy them for her anyway if you weren't denied? And is something like that realistically within your budget?

I'm agreeing with this almost entirely, but with one caveat;


Some couples are into the kind of monetary domination that the OP described. If he can afford it, and it's not something she does out of cruelty, I don't see much of a problem with it.

If he *can't* afford it (as in, he'd have to give up actual needs instead of luxuries to be able to procure) then it's extortion and should not be happening at all.
