It has a few advantages over carlilock, which I have used as well - carlilock is geared to getting you in as long as possible - for the maximum time you entered, or forever if you entered none. Every random time is geared to getting you in longer on average. Also, for subsequent sessions it requires you to get others signed up as well, it's almost a pyramid game.

And, with ChasityLocked, you can verify you're still locked up - to yourself, your key holder, or to the world.
