Now we are delighted with 7/10 teases on the front page and (4or5)/10 teases on the second page are garbage. I have been here for what I believe is two years and have never seen an infestation of garbage to this degree before.

It is starting to remind me of the yahoo groups for PCM. At one time, they were a great place for a great piece of software. Now it is just a giant spam box of fail.

I wonder why the sudden deluge of crap.
Perhaps the filter system could be tweaked a bit more, like have and option to hide the crap teases completely, so that 10 halfway decent teases can be seen on the front page if you wish.

100% Accurate of the current situation. It's good to see others have also seen the recent 'trend'.
It really, really makes the community look poor when 7/10 of the teases on the main page aren't only downrated, but are actually garbage. Seem to be an influx of "joke" type teases. There's been a running joke in the chat about a line in one of them "Eat your toe-jams" so that'll give you an idea of the kind of stuff cropping up.

What can be done? Or better question, what will be done? Hard to tell. Lets hope it doesn't continue like this however.

If you consider the fact, that almost all of these teases are written by one author, the solution still seems to work quite well to deal with the random crap or personal ad tease.
What it cant handle is an author taking it upon himself to flood the front page with crappy teases.
Let's hope he starts to consider the obvious feedback or at least starts to slow down...

I actually have a grease-monkey script that completely hides teases; however, it is unable to repopulate the page with new teases once it removes old ones. So right now, I am actually looking at a front page that has 3 teases. -.-

Haha, I have worked on two teases, the code is all done, I just really don't want to take the time and put pictures to all the slides. Easily the most annoying thing to do for me.

I have solution. Everyone who don't like that so much they can't stand this and make new and new threads about it should write one good tease. Then we will be flooded with lot of good stuff and every one will be happy.

You seem to think writing teases is "easy". I know writing them isn't easy firsthand. But just because something is not "easy", does not mean we should be catering stupidity. This is the equivalent of saying "The Bar exam is hard, so we will just let everyone become a lawyer and let the people shift through the trash on their own."

To be fair though, the tease writer jryan isn't writing spam-teases, they are more than 1 page at least. If they had a bit of punctuation and better spelling I don't think they would be too bad. Hopefully he will either run out of steam or learn to use a spell checker and get better at writing.

These teases are just pure laziness.
But I fear that anything written by him will be downgraded even if he does get his act together.

I think the idea behind these posts is to get people to buy videos and/or join a pay site. If so do we not have some sort of policy about this?

Here's a suggestion for the editorial board: Any tease that gets less than a 2.0 rating gets removed from the listing.

I've yet to see any that score that low that are worth seeing anyway. In fact, I think I've seen any score that low that were NOT bids for doms, etc. And hey, if someone can write a tease that tries to get a sub/dom thing going but ALSO scores high... then go ahead and post.

Not only will you not have to show the stupid one page plea want ads as if they were teases, but every subsequent tease writer will strive to write well because now they'll know there's a floor as well as a ceiling.

Sound like a good idea?

This. As time goes on the quality of this site continues to degrade.

nah, the site will only degrade if people stop writing great teases, it doesnt matter how much rubbish there is. I just think the tease filter needs tweaking (so that there are always 10 teases with a decent rating on the front page)

these are the teases made using the kink.com galleries, its an option you have when making a new tease. It is an advert, but the system was put in place by seraph0x, it generates revenue for the site (I think).
