As I often say the unexpected is the most fun

I will say that when it comes to erotic hypnosis I will listen
while wide awake to ensure there are no hidden "Nasties"

So I just jump straight into a Milo tease

What les said

I *hate*, with a passion, all kinds of previews/trailers/spoilers/peaks, in all aspects, not just teases.

If I am to view a show, tv series, movie, or read a book, I damn well want to be surprised and take what comes, not ruin it all by knowing what to expect up front. The less I know the better. Nothing more to it.

So true

I personally read the first 3 or 4 pages before doing a tease to make sure proper grammar and spelling is there. Besides that I like to just jump into them. There is no fun in doing a tease if I already know what is about to happen.

I marked sometimes. I will often times follow along with the tease, but sometimes I'll just read through and stroke regardless of what it says. There a few directions I don't follow either because, A) I don't have the necessary equipment or B) it's one of my limits. But otherwise I usually follow it unless I have already cum that day. I try to read all the new teases at least once a week (unless they are flash teases, then I need to make sure I have enough time).
One in a while, there's an author who just speaks to me, who seems to get me. If that's the case I might follow the directions without reading it through, while still respecting my limits.

Indigo™ wrote:I think it depends heavily on what you're looking for. If you're looking for stroking instructions, and a surprise, then yeah, dive right into the tease.

If you're more into the fantasy aspect, I think folks tend to read the tease thru, and generally familiarize themselves with it. For me, the first pass is somewhat akin to foreplay. It gives me an opportunity to place myself into the story, and really get my imagination active. Simply being told when/how to touch doesn't do much for me. I'm looking more for the immersive aspect. I also think that's why more than just a good storyline, the pics have to be appropriate to the story being told. If the girl looks bratty, but is supposed to be sensual, if the woman is supposed to be innocent, but is dressed in black leather, the story loses credibility, and it ruins it for me. Expression counts for a lot too.
You still haven't put your teases back up.

My response is the same as JPs. I read through a few pages of a tease to see if it fits me and then restart the tease later. Some tease creators also have a bad habit of putting the wrong items on the item checklist for a tease, so I'll get a few pages and realize that two or three pages request items not on a checklist causing me to read ahead. I don't think I've ever read through an entire tease.

Sometimes I do, especially when they are by authors that I do not know. But usually, yeah, not knowing what's coming is half the fun :-)
