Cyber mistress was taken down by author and is no longer available.

As long as I don't agree with author policy this was his decision and he make it.

CyberMistress can not be distributed by anyone anymore.

As for content: it depends on the wishes of the creators.

There are several alternatives. The first alternative was DomPlay, a rip-off of CyberMistress.

There's also "Missy" (check BoundAnna.net), which is rather new but promising.
If you search this board, you'll find several other alternatives.

For a second I thought Kenneth was done being butt-hurt. Then I opened the thread and was sadly disappointed.

Still with Kenneth on this one, he worked on it as a labour of love, it was never open source and we all knew that. His IP, his choice.

He was an author of a program, yes. And he indeed can stop its distribution. But SCRIPTS are other people's property. Suddenly Banning acess to them is an act of a selfish nerd who thought "Ooooo someone didn't respect my demand to not repost the program, NOW it'll show them!!!". It's like as if your landlord would suddenly appear with a bulldozer near your house in the morning and just crashes it without explanation.

I'm glad you actually accept the fact I can stop the distribution of my program.

I'm sure there are several copies of content, and that each author has a copy.
From the beginning I've said that I'm not going to meddle; they're free to upload *their* content someplace else, just not *mine*.

The content can easily be ported, there was already an alternative and more are in progress.


And yes tBone, I know from your POV I should stop being a kid and just drop my pants and actually get butt f*d rather than come up for my rights regarding IP. From my POV, that makes you sound like the things you call me. ;)

Hell, I'd be fine if you just didn't make it free anymore. I would have gladly paid a reasonable price for it. But nope.

SexScripts is stable and mature now, and is able to import quite succesfully Cyber Mistress files.
Actually, we are now searching for some old CM scripts that people would like to see imported / translated / transformed into sexscripts.

Anyone still looking for any CM scripts (mine included), feel free to contact me.

Kenneth sadly still refuses to let CM even see the light of day again, but I'm happy to share anything else related to it. Too much hard work was done by too many to see it all vanish into nothing.

As an alternative - correct me if I'm wrong, wasn't SexScript able to import/convert the files?
