it's a really bad idea. Betetr delete this subforum because it's not only useless (and makes root of Art of Webteasing useless) but makes navigation harder, and all in all very frustrating. Having to click yet another subforum for the info I used to get right away is a really stupid idea and feature.

I must say i agree, it looks like no one uses this subforum all the trafic goes to the forum above.

Completely pointless to draw conclusions yet, give it a few weeks. Then, and only then do we have any real basis for an opinion.
Personally I suspect you are right though, not much else left for the parent forum really, but again, too early to tell yet.

What do you need weeks for? If you move all the feedback topics here, then all there'd be left in root is a dozen of teck releted topics like tips and tricks or something like that.
Besides it's just unconvenient to go THROUGH the root to get here. We used to have feedback in the art of webteasing for YEARS and noone was irritated, and everything was fine. Yet now here comes Indigo with his new admin powers and an itch to use them ANYWHERE, SOMEWHERE, just USE THEM no matter what for.
He creates a vote that stays on for hardly two days and voila - we have a new subforum with no real purpose but to make someone happy and occupied for an hour.
Now this may seem offensive and probably is - but that's how things look from my point of view.

For people to get used to the new sub forum and know it's there in the first place and stop moaning simply because it is a change. Many people are allergic to change, whether it's a good change or not. Need to get past that point before it can be judged remotely objectively.

No need to - you can access this sub forum directly from the first page (direct links to the confession and feedback forums are listed)

The only bad thing is that I need info in BOTH. SO I have to look through two forums where I used to look through one.

So you're saying that all posts/threads you ever might be interested in should be gathered into a single forum, regardless of how different topics they might be or how huge and cluttered that single forum would be?
I'm sure you, just like myself and a lot of others, use several sites, forums and sub-forums which we frequent more or less on a daily basis or even more. Nothing new about that. Having one more sub-forum to relate to should hardly be a big deal.
Again, please realize that I'm not advocating that the sub-forum is a good idea or strictly necessary, I refuse to make up an opinion on that just yet - all I am saying is that your criticism is unjustified.

no, but the art of webteases was a good forum where everything was gathered nicely and topics did not get in the way of one another. OBVIOUSLY I wouldn't want everything mixed up in one forum, but dividing the unnecessary is stupid too.
OH, let's create 2 more subforums here, for flash and normal teases! And then THERE wi'll create a few more subforums in each, depending on a genre.

This subforum was not an idiotic idea, but I do think its not needed:
1. The members here have viwed the parent forum as the webtease feedback forum. I was recently puzzled when a couple of my threads were moved there --- I was like "whaaa...I didnt create threads based on the webteases here...???? scratch scratch scratch...???"
2. If this sub forum remains, what goes into the parent forum? Tease discussions have previously been created in all and everything forum, and appropriately so. So tease topics go there, but "webtease" discussions go into the parent Art of Webteasing forum? And webtease feedback goes into yet another forum? That sounds confusing.
3. Webteases are an integral part of milovana. It is bad design to make webtease feedback as a subforum.
I would suggest the following:
Nuke this forum.
Rename Art of Webteasing forum to Webtease Feedback and Discussion.
Did people say that Art of Webteasing forum needed to be split?

This whole debate kinda warms my heart... Really! I mean it... Simply because... if this is all we really have to worry about or disagree on, then we truly are fortunate in our lack of real problems.
Kinda reminds me of the radio while driving to work today... On top of the hour I hear the news coming up so I turn it up a bit to catch the headlines...
The very first item is an alleged news about Facebook "moods" being mentally deteriorating to the users.....
Wow. This too, much like this thread, pleased me intensely.. Simply because if THAT is the main news today then truly nothing bad or worth mention of any kind has happened in the world at all.... Great

Indy, to resolve some confusion, I'd recommend renaming the art of webteasing forum to
"Tease discussion" or "Art of Teasing".
The word webteasing gives the impression that its just for the "webteases" on milovana.
