Hi,
Even lo-res Cock Hero vids won't play properly on my PC. Its Windows XP (SP3), 512Mb of RAM, 2.6GHz processor and plenty of hard drive space. Do I need more RAM or a faster processor or what ?

Thanks,

Chico

Hi,
Thanks for your thoughts. I unzipped them ok and tried both Windows media player and VLC and while the music played ok, the videos were reduced to a series of "stills" - about 2 a second.
So I suspect it's as you suggest - a lack of memory.
Thanks,

Chico

Maybe it's the memory, But I'd rather think youz have an old graphic card. I haven a GForce 9200 M and can't play the 1080p Movies without stuttering.
I hav 4GB RAM and a Dual Core though ;)

I suggest you try "Windows Media Player classic". It uses even less ressources than any other player I know (including VLC) and the vids stutter less

best regards

They have a free scanner that will tell you what memory you have installed
And how much your motherboard is designed to have fitted.

They will also give very competitive pricing on new.replacement memory.

I suggest a minimum of 1 GB if you can just add an extra 512 MB stick.
Otherwise 2 GB is preferable if you have to replace the two existing sticks.
keeping the sticks matched in size and speed is the best way.

Your machine will love you and be super speedy once more.
