Yeah I was sad to see it gone... it was really well done and I was actually looking forward to finding all the endings tonight :(

I went through Wasteland a few times. The concept is really great, and I'd like to see it continued, but I was surprised how short it was (unless that was a technical glitch related to it's disappearance).
**Spoilers below**
- Spoiler: show
- Not much to be done in the compound where the story starts, one tease if you run into your neighbor, but you are able to skip that encounter by hiding if you want to rush to the rest of the content. First thing you come across is a house, which you can skip, or go inside and rescue a kidnapped girl. It seemed like that was a setup for her to return later in the story, and if that's the intent, for a decision at the beginning of the game to have consequences further on, that would be a great plot point. After that you have a dream about a girl in the desert, this one has timed elements you can't skip, which is unfortunate because this is the only one which strays from the post apocalyptic theme, and is the least interesting of the encounters, only because the others are of such a high quality. The next decision is between exploring a house and a forest, both these seem to lead to an ending, which is odd, because there's no explanation for why you can't skip both and keep going to more well written adventure. The house results in your kidnapping and chastity, and the forest results in your kidnapping and slavery. I guess these are the two endings one has to choose from, and they're both appropriately dark, I like how there's no happy shiny ending, but I would have loved more game to play, perhaps a single line of decision that leads to escape from the forest/house traps, and/or further adventure in this world. It would be possible to continue the story in a sequel, where the girl you save near the beginning rescues you from the ending in the first part, allowing the adventure to continue. Though it's possible I missed something and there is more story to explore, if anyone knows what decision I have to make to access that content, please post it here.
**Spoilers over**
In any case this is a great first webtease from Codename X. The concept is great and there's great potential for more content along these lines. Many of the decisions and conversation trees don't seem to change the story, but the story as given was good enough to make up for that. Superb work Codename X, I hope you make a sequel soon.

Hmm, these were the only paths I was able to find during the tease as well, I get the feeling maybe it's a work in progress and the completed tease will return soon .....also I completely agree that the dream bit in desert goes on way too long

It's back up!
I was a bit disappointed by the first version too, there was no way to win (I've checked the script). Now there is a path to win - which completes this nonetheless great tease. Awesome work!

Well now there's a win scenario, but as someone who enjoys teasing I actually prefer the girl in the woods ending
- Spoiler: show
- where I'm teased for the rest of my life
to the "Winning" ending where
- Spoiler: show
- I fuck and get married
. Also
- Spoiler: show
- if I don't save the kidnapped girl the game won't let me wander into the desert where' I'd either find nothing and keep going or find her convoy anyway
. I suppose the only thing I can say is really disappointing is that the game ends at all, the setting and concept were great, as was the ample use of redheads. I hope there's a sequel to look forward to soon, or at least other dystopian teases.
