red light green light random signals?

Hi everyone,
I'm looking for a tool that signals start and stop signals, like 'red light/green light' or which only repeats one sound in random intervalls. Does anyone know some kind of software or website where I could find something like that?
The intervals should be between a few seconds and a few minutes or so?
Any ideas?

1) you may write a tease like that yourself - but then at least try to make it look like a tease
2) you may write a simple program on any language you like
3) you may ask someone else to do that.

The easiest way is to let your screensaver run a slide-show with pictures. Could make a lot of the same or similar "red light" pictures and a couple of "green light" pictures.

I'm afraid I have zero experience with programming and flash teases, so I was hoping something like this would be floating around on the net.
Regarding the slideshow, yeah did that before, but I need sound for what I'm thinking of

As I'm having a day off work, I started to make this in AS3
I'll post results later today, (meaning 5-10 hours from the moment of this post).

All right, I succeeded in making something that Brian talked about
. I'll post it here tomorrow, I still need to find some better audio samples for it.
