Hi, everyone

I woud like to introduce You with new tease, called "Hitting the Wall" - like in running.. it gets harder as You approach the finish..

It is nice software tease that You can download an use on Your computer.

The game is really simple, but surprisingly addictive.. :)
The idea behind is plain simple -

1) This nice tease ticks a pace at which You should storke.
2) It starts slowly.. and with each tick it accelerates a little bit - You wont even notice,
3) That is where the fun begins.. :) In approximately 20 minutes it will reach a realy fast pace, finnaly reaching maximum and then stop.
4) The objective of the tease is to reach and get over the maximum pace until teaser stops.
5) There is button "Edge" for the case if You reach edge - it will give You small rest period, but
with penalty by throwing You few steps back.. :)

You can download it here:

Zip password : 123

Please, don't worry there is no viruses or any other crap inside.

PS. Hope to hear a lot of feedback and suggestions.. :) see You!

WOW! Wow.

Honestly, when I started, I didn't think it would be possible.
I was sure I was doomed to fail, ... still, why not, give it a try.

I kept going.. telling myself.. Don't be a woss... YOU CAN DO THIS! I CAN DO THIS!

3/4 the way thru ... it was torture..
90% AGONY!

Fought hard - keeping my mind focused elsewhere..
anything I could latch on to that was ..
dull, meaningless, totally NON-SEXY objects around me.

Wow.. and now?
You know, I really DO feel like I deserve a reward or something..
Hmmm...

Thank you.

Tried both Hitting the Wall (34kb). links. I don't have sound either. Even changed settings on the sound card. Thanks for trying to give us the file. Probably works on other cards.

Did this really work for you guys? I downloaded the file, scanned it (it showed as 'ok, no viruses or malware'), then tried to open it. All of a sudden, popups started on my screen like 4 or 5 per second.... too fast for me to do really anything. I'm not a big computer guy & didn't know what to do, but before I knew it, I had prob 25-35 popups on my screen!! I unplugged, restarted, had to run scans, restore.... WTF???!!!!!!!!!!!!  Be careful everyone. Not sure what's going on, but it totally jacked my computer.

I also have no sound but I have semi-fixed it, if anyone else is using an HDMI output for the sound you need to have another sound accompanying this program. The reason for this is that windows automatically shuts off the sound output when there is no sound. When the program beeps the computer turns on the sound output but there is a lag of around 1-1.5 sec where any sound played will no come out. then the program tries to send another beep but the same thing happens. the program would need to have an inaudible static sound coming out so that the sound output stays active. This is why it works if I have a movie or music on along with the program's beeps.

Hope this helps someone else out there.

Hi, guys!

In case you had no sound, please, don't hesitate to try this :

There is now a flashing light to indicate a stroking pace, also.. :)

I googled around, and found that it might be releatead to some
"misconfiguration of Your PC internal speaker"..
maybe someone will find a solution for that... :)

Hi, again

Boys, now when You know how the game works, lets think about some rules
and a most imortant part for You - the reward.. :)

First that comes in to my mind is,

1) You can play the game as much as You wan't but a chance for "release"
You get only if You have been "good" for at least two days, :)
2) You are allowed to "go over the edge", only if You have succeed in the game at least 3 times in one single day.. and without accidents! No limits for number of attemts.. :))

One more thing,

We can make this game a little more interesting for You,

1) If You get to finish without hitting the "Edge" button You win, but
2) As soon as You hit "Edge" for the first time, we turn everything around -
You must edge as soon as possible at a give pace and hit the "Edge" button.

What is the point, You ask? :)

Let me explain,
now, when You objective is to get to the edge - pace will be slower and slower
each time You hit the button and make it harder and harder to get to the Edge... ;-)
You win when You "get back to the beginning"!

You can change Your mind which "way to go" at any time during the game...

but soon You will dicover - You are stuck "between to walls..."

I am cruel, I know..

Nice tease :)

BTW found out one thing about sound, if i connect logitech lapdesk it plays sound ok, if i connect headphones sound almoust disapears. Maybe it's frequency of sound that is the problem?

The programme seems to be clean btw.
Not opening any sockets, connecting anywhere or grabbing input.

The sound output doesnt work for me too. Why not using some simple API Sound output ??

oh btw ;D.. The game seems to be quite interesting. Could also easily be ported to JavaScript, which would make it more trustworthy ;)

Interesting little application, and yes it looks clean.

Being able to somewhat select total duration etc might be a good improvement though, as well as as Green pointed out - using standard sound APIs and maybe also add a simple volume control.

Seems to run a little unstable for me (w7 64), some times sound wont start and the application hangs, but other times it starts nicely.

That was definitely fun.

Beat it on my first try without edges, though. It starts out a little slow for my tastes, but the end is nice. If I could make a feature request, I'd like to be able to tweak it so I could, say, start out at the middle intensity, and then make progression half as quick, staying at the harder parts longer. Or maybe make the end go harsher still.. I like to push myself <<

I do like the 'slimline' feel of the thing. Easy to tuck away in its own little corner of the screen, not getting in the way of anything.

Like the others, I would also like to suggest moving away from using the PC speaker. Not sure all modern systems even have those anymore. Though for me personally it worked.

I've tried CAM before, as well, and I seem to rather enjoy this sort of thing. Wonder whether I could cook one up myself <<
