Metronome

Hey all,
I've noticed that the new flash teases are lacking in my favorite part: the Metronome. Timers are neat and all, but I love being forced to keep the beat or pay the price.
Did I miss a general decision to do away with that feature?

I absolutely love/hate them - generally I am quite insensitive an dcan take a lot of stroking without cuming. But add a metronome in to a tease, even if its not too fast and eventually it will just drive me over or at least to the edge where without one even with faster strokes I just wouldn't have. Do much prefere the in built flas metronome though, using one hosted on another site instead just spoils the flow an doesn't have the same effect, especially not that of a hidden timer flash metronome tease.

it's not a feature persé, usually they're made by uploading sound files which play in the background on each page - the problem is that if you put one of these in then go back to the usual (not script) editor, you tend to lose them and have to put the code back in. It's a bit harder to write with metronomes for that reason, and i'd guess it's why a lot of users don't use them...
but i totally agree, i miss them and always enjoy teases with them built into the tease.
regards

There's no middle ground on metronome teases - people either love them or hate them.
I can only speculate but it may be possible the current group of writers aren't fans of the metronome tease.
In addition, there are at a minimum three additional steps to adding a metronome to a flash tease: creating/editing the mp3 file, uploading the file, and adding the code. It's a pain in the posterior.
Finally, it's difficult to write an interesting metronome teases. That's probably the biggest challenge.

Count me on the "love-em" side.
