Not like he mentioned her name or anything.

As for the bragging about conquests part of it....society. We still haven't quite moved past the double standard yet. A woman who does so is still considered a "slut" with a negative connotation associated with it.

Someday we'll get beyond such pointless and hypcritical lables, but that day hasn't come yet.

I think that the definition of someone's virginity has less importance on our society because of the various ways that are known to sexually please each other. I, for instance, am technically a virgin (never had sexual intercourse), but I have pleasured quite a few people orally.

Also, Incubo, I totally agree with you. No one should be have to hypocritically called a "slut" for what they practice. Unless they want to be called a slut, of course... :-D

This losing the virginity thing.

I found it off putting on Monday when i over heard a "young man"
Loudly stating to his friends, while walking through the high street.

Saying he had taken his partners virginity over Christmas
And then proceeded to describe how totally degrading and painful he made it for his partner as if that's the perfection of sex.

Where do people get these ideas.
That if someone is not damaged it was/is a waste of time?

Totally a waste of time. Why else would you need to fuck a girl if she wouldn't have memories of you for the rest of her life? ;-)
