Yes, it is an interesting concept. I agree, I don't like the pay for service concept either. However, someone's buying it. Their initial production stock has sold out.

The pay is only for videos, to which the device is syncronised. i.e. it goes slower/faster depending on the action in the movie. You can use it anytime how you want without this feature. AND I'm shure you can actually hack it and make your own scripts.

The device is pretty cool, but still weird. Sigh... when males are getting a good fucking machine already, or at least a good realistic masturbator....

Its really a strange thing that noone created more devices like that so far. I'm sure most of us would love a device like that which you could attach on your computer by usb and then a partner from far away could control that device over the net. Seriously just think about that you would stick your cock in that device, attach the device with ductape so it cannot drop off. Tie yourself helpless on a chair and put some ductape around your wrists. Now your helpless. Now imagine that Miss Jay would sit at home and could control that device :p

I think I'd be more interested in hacking it than using their pay-to-play service, but at the current price (US$ 250 for the device itself), I'm not in any rush.

Actually, the RealTouch has two tools that I think this community would find quite useful. The CDK (content development kit) and the SDK (software development kit).

I've been toying with the idea of using one of the cock hero videos and the CDK to put together an example video. Right now, the CDK is somewhat painful to use (you create a text file and run it through expression encoder or their CDK software).

I got access to the SDK a while back, which is more direct, but I think for the tease community in particular, the CDK would be fairly interesting to use.

I do have an RT, and the content could be more subtle. Its still got its kinks, but its a lot closer to setting something interesting up with teledildonics than I've seen.

http://developer.realtouch.com/documentation.php is a good place to start. If there's interest, I can start another thread about the CDK and some thoughts about how we could make some good tease vids.

It seem they want to re-market it. they use an external firm to help them sell the device again. They are currently negotiating with party that own some patent over their technology.

It's seem possible that they sell it or an improved version again. Actually some model still have one to sell on their forum.
