Okay, I've only *published* two (one is in the classics section) of my teases here, but I've written (or, more accurately, half-written) quite a few for myself, and I always write my fantasies. To elaborate on that--

I tend to daydream a lot. Usually I daydream about being in some unrealistic environment where there are plenty of attractive females. Somehow in these alternate realities I manage to misbehave or make a mistake and that results in my being dominated and punished by one or more of the attractive females.

When I write a tease, I simply describe the situation as I envision it, and I write down what I've imagined the said attractive female or females say to me. Then I think about what my possible actions are in that circumstance--those possible actions, in a Nyx flash tease, would become buttons. For a simple linear tease, I would choose the action that most turns me on and carry the story forward from there.

For either type of tease, after my own action, the attractive woman has to respond in some way to my action. So I ask myself, how would she respond? And thus the process continues.

So, who do I write for? I write for myself; I write what turns me on (that makes me horny so I start masturbating and never finish the damn writing :-) )

You seem to be asking two questions. 1. Who do you write for? 2. How do I overcome my writer's block?

Question 1 - I write what I like and hope others validate my feelings. I write from this perspective: what would I want a mistress to tell me to do? Better yet, what would I like a mistress to do to me?

Question 2 - How do I remove my writer's block? My recommendation is do some "research". Visit some of the mistress' sites or femdom sites and study how they tease their subs. Then attempt to apply them to yourself. Also study some techniques used in some of the teases on this site. Take some of the techniques you find and combine them. If you like it, refine the tease. If doesn't work, try some other combinations.

One of my teases "Milking the Monkey" is based on a technique I found on a cock teasing site.

Good luck.

i write for myself. and of course others to read and hopefully enjoy. like kinkyswan i also envision the same ideas he has but i use what i do everyday. there are so many things at my job or in my life that can be used in my teases. most of which i use and some times i try to throw in some words or phrases or pics that a friend or some one i know can say "Hey, that was cause of me"

(this was a good idea for the forum.)

All of the teases that I have made have been based on my own fantasies. I find it’s much easier to write a tease when you’re really ‘into’ what you’re writing. I couldn’t or at least wouldn’t want to write a tease that involved fantasies that I don’t like. A lot of readers seem to like cum-eating or ruined orgasms but these things aren’t for me. Would a tease get a higher rating if I incorporated things I don’t like but seem to be popular in general? Possibly, but I know I wouldn’t enjoy writing the tease as much if I did and at the end of the day, for me at least, that’s what’s it’s about – namely enjoying putting the tease together in the first place. If others don’t like it, who cares? That’s why I stick to what I like thus the same types of things crop up over and over again in my teases (orgasm denial, light cock and ball torture, ass and foot worship and always some kind of element of not knowing what’s going to happen next).

What I do is, whenever I think of a scenario that turns me on, I think to myself whether it could be made into an effective tease and if so, I try to find pictures to go with it and then get writing. I basically describe exactly what I would like to happen to me and if the tease happens to get a good rating at the same time, then that’s a bonus. I also like to use pictures of women that I know (for example wwe divas) rather than a random model that I just happen to find pictures of.

Yes, that's about how I feel too. I started writing stories just to be able to come back to my own fantasies, and then I found that I could illustrate them and they seemed better. So I also write initially have written for myself. But as I noted elsewhere, I got a bit carried away when I got positive feedback on these and started caring too much about the ratings...

Anyway, I rarely put anything into the tease that isn't a personal turn on. And I leave out anything I don't really like. Hence no cum eating, pictures of guys, etc.

Just my 2 cents.

As for who i write for...

I am really not sure. The first tease i wrote (10 questions), i wrote becase i thought i would be something different. the second one (a little treat) i wrote, basically to see if i could pull off writing a whole tease or not.
And i think the 3rd one (room for rent) was pretty much along the sma elines, this time trying to see if i could use what i know as a sub to write a good tease for other girls :)

So yeah... i think i pretty much write for myself beucase i do enjoy writting them :)

Trying to balace the timing and get a good mixture of common fetishes in while messing around in NYX is probably what I aim for when writing a tease.

I guess my mind is just not sexual enough to create those really naughty teases ;O.

Then again, I had this mega awesome Idea.. Though my pictures for that Idea have been STOLEN !!. And I want them back.. But.. not a chance.. not even a little one ... Anyways.. once I get a new set I'll start over.

Personally, I write for me. Although, unlike what the others have mentioned, I don't necessarily stick to writing things that I fantasize about.

I like to project myself into the mind of the characters. Once I'm "in" the story, I don't think about me anymore because the story isn't about me. It's about the characters. What would they do? How would they act? What would they like or dislike? What would turn them on? How far would they go? etc....

I'm basically letting them tell me what to write. It sounds weird, but that's just the way I do it.

I don't worry so much about ratings. Some fairly random number doesn't tell me much. If others enjoy the stories I'm writing, that's great. I'm happy I could entertain someone for a little while, but I'm far more interested in their feedback than what number they gave it. Sometimes, I learn that things didn't "work" as much as I thought they did. Sometimes they give me ideas or directions that I hadn't thought of or considered. In either case, I learn something and that's fun too.

As for writer's block....good luck with that. I've had cases of it off and on myself and it's frustrating. There's really no "cure" for it that I've found. Just have to sort of suffer through it until inspiration strikes. For me, inspiration comes from a variety of things. Sometimes it's something I read online, a news paper, a book, a magazine, whatever. Sometimes it comes from something i saw on TV that sparked an idea. Sometimes I just sit and let my mind wander. Sometimes it comes from things other people have said or suggested. Usually, it's a combination of those things.

Bermuda started from a combination of something I saw on the History Channel and Lost. Once I had the basic idea, I 'created' a character, tossed him into this strange place, and then let him tell me what happened. When he stops telling me how the story goes, I throw something else at him and see what happens. Sometimes, I throw out suggestions from other readers. I'm currently working from a rough idea mentioned in the feedback thread.

Although the characters are sort of rebelling at the moment. They're telling me random incoherent pieces of things, which is what's taking so long to put it together. Yeah, I know....I'm a crazy person.

Probably not very helpful in any way to other writers, but that's just the way I work.

Hmm...The Misty Morning may not go on.....
We'll see....
My mind has been "in" Bermuda lately, so I haven't really touched base with the girls lost in the fog.
The haven't been screaming at me though, so they must being doing all right on their own.

You'd think that wouldn't you?

Unfortunately, nope. Read the longer post up there. For some reason, just not how it works for me. They tell me the story, not the other way around. Sometimes I have to "goose" 'em a little before they cooperate, but The Bermuda characters are the ones screaming for attention right now.

I'll check in with the others eventually. See if they have anything to say or not. Never know....maybe their voices are just being drowned out by the Bermuda folks right now.
