First of all, you just took care of the Curious Newbie problem yourself by posting your fifth post.
Great to hear that you want to help out.

To become part of the Team, just be active in the forums and on the site. When we notice your continuous quality comments and/or teases we will ask you if you want to help us out as a permanent Team member.
I know there will be some we overlook and there will be some who can't wait, so if that's you, feel free to write me a PM saying that you'd like to join the Team. Each of our Team members has a specific role or specialty, so I expect applicants to outline what function they'd like to perform and how they want to improve the site as a Team member.
Also, when we need help with a specific issue, we will usually ask in the forums and if you can jump in on these occasions you also have a good chance of being promoted. (The latest example of this would be the
Webteasing Guide.)
Thanks for being the greatest community in the world!
