I've just had an Idea of how to implement a voting feature within flash-teases.

Since the Flash Tease Editor is able to load external Images, you could write a script, which counts the images displayed. For example:

The last Page of the Tease Has 5 Buttons: 1star, 2stars, 3stars, 4stars and 5 stars.

When you click on Button1 Image1 one is loaded, and the vote is being counted as 1 star(Only once per 24 hours per IP). Same Button2,3,4,5 with 2,3,4,5 stars.

Once the image is loaded, you would be automaticly directed to the voting results ( Another script generated Image).

To see the Vote before the Tease starts, you could Load the "Result Image", before the actual Tease runs by just adding(Copy n' paste) a simple page in nyx.

This would be a fully external project (External to Milovana) and would require a simple webserver (with at least php).

Is anyonere interested in such a script, that would add a neat voting feature to flash teases ?

How would you tally the 'votes' using flashtease script?
by that I mean I don't know of a way to link external stuff to a tease
Have often wish there was a way to click on a link inside a tease
instead of the old copy/paste, which is really annoying if your doing a full screen flash tease.

Also with regular teases you can see the rating 3.6 or 4.2 or such
before you click on the tease, would your first page be the one that shows
the votes? (again on script question)

It would not do anything for Older flashteases but
it might be a cool idea for a new tease.

No, It would all be inside the Flash tease, no need to browse any other page ;].

Yeah, unless people would update their teases though.

The rating would show up, when you click on the tease, as the first page.

You can load external images, where you can count the viewcount. It's a little "trick" I once discovered ;].

I've been sorta lurking for a while now, and have been working on my first flash tease.

I'd love to see a way to rate the flash teases.

I prefer them over the "traditional" tease.

green you are a genius (presuming this crazy scheme works)

i would love to put them on my old flashteases just to see how many people do the older ones and vote on them. however im really afraid of opening them again in nyx because it messes up the script and I dont have a back up saved.
