Uploading Pictures not working today

I am not able to upload pictures today for some reason. I can select a photo and click "upload". The progress bar moves across and it says that it was uploaded successfully. However, when I save the page and go back and view it the photo is not there...neither in the thumbnail view nor the preview mode.

I have the same problem but it seems to be only with some pictures.... some work some don't......
