Flash Tease of the Month: August

After a long break, Flash Tease of the Month is back!
My apologies to the authors who made Flash Teases in June and July, and didn't get to compete for FTOTM. It was out of my control.
Voting will run for 1 week, so please don't feel the need to vote immediately if you want to see all the flash teases first.
You can vote until September 24.

Rules:
The nominations are the 5 most-viewed flash teases.
The Flash Tease of the Month voting must be started after the Tease of the Month has been selected. The purpose of this is twofold: so that everyone's attention is not divided, and so that there is enough time for all of the teases to get the required number of views.
If two or more teases have the same amount of votes after the voting period, a second voting will happen. Only the teases with the most votes can participate and the voting time is decreased to two days. Any more votings will also have a voting time of two days.
Only one tease per author can participate. We'll take only the most-viewed tease for authors with multiple qualifying teases.
The voting system should be separated from the webtease itself. Hence webteases encoraging a vote for the FTOTM to manipulate the system will not make it to the final round.

The flash tease awards return after I stoped doing them. I'll just have to make some more if this is back as a regular feature.
