Well first of all welcome to the site!

I own a gates of hell and a curve chastity device, and I wouldn't call the gates of hell a real chastity device or especially painful, however the curve can be somewhat painfull at when an erection sets in.

The kali's teeth I have never tried, however I have made something similar with tacks and a toilet tube, and that hurts when you get erect.

About painful chastity for women, I don't really know if it's even possible to make one, it's way easier to make something like that for a man, but I guess it wouldn't be that hard to make something for a woman if you combined it with electricity. But then again that might be a bit cruel.

It's more uncomfortable, kind of like a pressure on the penis (I grow quite a bit in circumference so it never really tuggs on my balls), but no most of the time not really painful...though I have had a couple of 'ouch' moments in it when i was getting a bit too exited.
