I've been away from the cockhero scene for awhile and would love it if you guys could give some suggestions to get me up to speed on the highlights of the past 5-6 years

That's quite a long time. You'll have plenty of fun to catch up on. Maybe people could post a suggested video for you to try?
Perhaps some recency bias, but I think this is one of the standout productions of the past few years

I don't really know what your taste is like.. but....
