This is the feedback post for my latest tease, "Major in PornStarology".

I begun the creation of this tease back in January, but I abandoned the tease since I was blocked and I did not know how to proceed with it, this last week I finally decided to get to work on it again and finish it, initially I planned to create a much more long and complete tease, but I always underestimate the time and work it takes to create teases, but still I hate leaving teases half done, I have like 6 more teases I abandoned between 50% and 80% completion, and I did not want this to be another one.

Tease was initially thought to have a bit of replayability but after 1 or 2 runs you probably will have memorized the entire thing, so I don't know how replayable is, but is true that a part of the difficulty comes from, if you are able to remember everything.

If anyone finds out any bug, typo or just want to share thoughts and tips to make the tease better, please tell me and I'll try to fix/implement it to make the tease better.

I like the ideas for the "tests". But without any teasing around it, it is very boring to me. It does not help that I do not know many porn stars. I play a lot of teases and CHs and have watched some fetish/bdsm porn. But I do not really care about names of vanilla porn actresses. Maybe there are people, that are really experts on that, that will know. But for me, a tease like this, would need a major training section, where I would be teased while learning the answers to the questions.

I understand, but to be honest I don't really see how to create an interesting study part, the only thing that comes to my mid would be to simply make flashcards for every pornstar on the test and have some teasing in between each, I could divide them into sections for each test, but I would be literally spitting all the answers in your face and then the test would be "do you remember what I told you 2 min ago?", yes, I could make that (although that kind of addition will be almost creating a brand new tease) but to be honest if you already found the tests boring I don't really see how a slideshow with 55 flashcards with trivia information about pornstars with a little bit of teasing in between would be less boring, and I don't really like the idea of having a study session for this kind of tease because again, is simply giving you all answers, and I don't really see where the fun is if 99% of people gets a perfect score on the first try.

Edit: And that would also literally destroy the entire difficulty mode, like if I show you picture of a feet and tell you who belongs to, then who will go and try a lower difficulty setting? Difficulty modes are there for that specific reason, if you don't think you can recognize someone by her feet only then try a lower difficulty and later if you choose to do the tease again, you can try a higher difficulty, if I give you all the answers I would have to either complete remove the difficulty modes or make it so I am forcing you to complete the test in lower difficulties to "unlock" a higher difficulty, and again, that would be create a brand new tease

About the tests, I don't know if you mean that the "only tests" mode is boring or that the tests are boring because there is no teasing in between, if you refer that the "only tests" mode is boring, sure it is, after all it only is a small part of the tease, is just there for the people who are not into the heavy humiliation there is on the full tease part, but I don't recommend selecting that mode, if you mean there is no teasing during tests or between tests, I thought about it, but I just thought it was not really necessary, if you selected on "full tease" mode there are 2 teasing sections, one in the beginning and one in the end, they are not very long but the tease itself is meant to be relatively short, my intention was never to make a tease that would take like 1h to complete, so the "fun" is in testing knowledge and completing the tests, obviously if you don't have any knowledge the tease will be boring, same way if you don't have a estim, an estim tease will be boring, or if you don't have a chastity cage, a locktober tease will be boring.

Well how are you supposed to get a good score? Is the idea, that you just watch so much porn, that you can identify pornstars by their feet? And if you fail, watch more porn for half a year and try again?
There are quite a few teases where you have to recognize cocks for example. They usually have a training section where you are shown pictures of the various porn stars, but not exactly the same pictures as in the test. So you have to really look and details and try to memorize them. Same should work for feet. For faces it could be quite easy of course, though I sometimes have a hard time to remember faces from just one pictures for people that look quite similar.
The fun is in having to really learn every detail of some body part or learn how somebody moans etc.

Honestly, there is only one mode that is really easy, that is recognizing porn stars with the face. I can't even do that, as I don't look into names of actresses, I only know very few names of ones I really liked. But I could imagine some people getting this. But already full body or tits? Do people really know this without specifically practicing for the current top 10 porn stars?

Leaning faces is easier than learning feet, learning feet is more humiliating than learning tits. So in this way it would make sense. Or you could just force people to go through all the difficulties creating a longer tease.

The typing out the names would make a bit less sense. It makes it harder though because you have to decide always between all options and not only three possible choices. Learning the spelling of the names is mostly easy of course. But then the people that have any chance of getting any points at this will no the top 20-50 porn star names by heart anyway.

No, I meant the story mode. There is a quick introduction, stroking while reading some explanation and one edge. Then there are the tests, where there is nothing except for the questions, end then there is some short dialog at the end (even if you win, there is not more).

So even if I had the knowledge, this tease would be boring to me. Ok, I could confirm that I have some very strange knowledge, be called a porn addicted loser for it, and that's it. Actually, most teases about knowledge are boring if you know all of it, that's why the usually use questions that are very difficult or can only be answered on the second or third try.

The point of my feedback is, the tests are very creative, but the tease itself is boring, but could be turned into something exciting potentially. If this is exactly how you want the tease to be, or you just don't have the time to create something more complex etc. that's perfectly fine. But that's just how the tease is for me, so that's my feedback.

Again, this is not the idea I had to make this tease, and the idea is not what you say of "watching for for half a year", for example, the feet test, if you don't know them all by the feet that's the reason there is lower difficulties, you can select a lower difficulty if you don't think you have the required knowledge for doing the high difficulty, get familiar with the girls since they are always the same 10 girls, if you know who they are because you played on easy then at very least you know the names you have to put in all difficulties, the only thing you'll be missing will be the order in which you have to put the names, and with the skin tone, fat, some tattoos and age you can already guess majority of them, you are asking for a training mode when the training mode is playing on low difficulties, there's a reason why girls feet are shown in either Easy difficulty and on Medium difficulty, and there is also a reason why there are no timers, take your time, look at things, the idea is having to repeat the tests over and over until you manage to get it all right, there is absolutely no fun on making a test that everyone will ace on the first try.

The tease is made to test your knowledge, I never intended it to be a tease to teach you about pornstars and train, and I never said it was like that, you are complaining about something I never aimed to do, is like complaining on a Locktober tease because it does not teach chastity for beginners.

I'm sorry to tell you this, but if after showing you the picture of a top 10 pornstar that has literally thousands of videos, billions of views on the most popular porn sites and has millions of followers on social media, you can not name her without needing to give you options, you were never the target I was making the tease for.

Yes, there is people out there that see a feet and can recognize who it belongs to, and not even pornstars, I was in a pretty big discord server that had games like this, someone would post a pic of a foot (and not only pornstars, but also mainstream celebrities too) and people had to guess, and a lot of people were pretty good, I even saw people posting a picture of a foot and not even a minute later someone would be "That's Taylor Swift's feet"

Because the "story" part of the tease was never meant to be the main dish, I originally had a much much MUCH more longer tease part (+400 text lines), but I deleted all because it removed the focus on what I wanted to be the main thing of the tease, the tests, the story is just a mere excuse, and the first person I made my teases for is myself, I would never make a tease that I don't like, and the thing I hate the most are long, complex, teases, for me, if a tease takes more than 30 min to reach the end, is a bad tease, I prefer a short tease that has some kind of replayability over a long tease.

The main issue is that what you look for on a tease is not what I want to offer, to you, teases about knowledge are boring, to me, teases that are simply read 500 text lines are boring.

Thank you for the feedback, but what you say is definitely not what I aim to do.

For me, that would mean, I could do the test once to see the pictures of the girls and try figure out their names from the top 10 you took them from. If you use mostly the same pictures each time, this is pretty easy to do.

Maybe that's the point. A test on its own is always boring to me. If I know all the answers already, it is boring, if I don't know them, it is boring as well. What can be exciting, is, the process around it. Being made to study feet or listen to moans. The test can only serve as a tool to make me do that and as an element of a larger story. Then it gets fun. Your tease has nothing of that, so it bores me.

I'm not complaining to you. I'm just telling you, why your tease is boring to me, and would be, even if I knew the names. If you're perfectly happy with the tease, that's completely fine. Maybe it is exciting to some people. Maybe some of them give some feedback and tell you, what they enjoyed about it.

Cause it does not appeal to me at all. There is no teasing and no interaction during the test, so I would just click multiple times through a bunch of questions. After 2-3 times I would just remember the correct answers for the given pictures. It's like doing a bar quiz multiple times on your own.

Maybe I explained myself wrong since English is not my first language, but what I wanted to say when I said that I wanted to do a longer tease, is that that was the original plan when I began it back in January, but not the intention at release, I just wanted to express that I usually begin creating a tease with a lot of ideas on my head but I end up wanting to add too much stuff and the reason I abandoned it in January was that, I tried to make a long tease, but then stopped enjoying it for that exact reason, when I work on something for long I just begin hating absolutely everything I did, if I kept working on it to add longer teasing parts and add teasing in between tests the only thing that would happen is that I would end up changing stuff that was already good and finished and enter in a spiral of changing stuff, and remaking things that were already made and not getting anything done, maybe because what I enjoy are simple things and maybe the reason I want to make long teases even though I don't like them and I have not enjoyed any long tease in here is because I don't have enough faith people will enjoy simpler teases and I end up having things like this that are not a long tease, neither a short tease and is just a skeleton on what could have been? Probably.

Anyways, intention on release of this tease was, and I am not planning to change that, a short tease revolving 3 little tests to test knowledge people might have with a tiny bit of replayability for those who liked it, nothing more, nothing less

About the unfairness, that's the entire point, I don't want to make it easy and I don't expect people to know it by heart and be able to guess it all at first try, in my opinion when you make a quiz-like tease with humiliation taints you need to make it hard and even unfair, and so far it seemed to have worked well.

The pictures at different times are like that for one reason, it takes and absurd amount of time to find pictures from a specific date, unless there is a porn pictures gallery where I could filter pictures by date of publication (not date of upload to the site) that I don't know about, I'll have to go to the original uploader site if the reuploader was kind enough to keep on the watermark, pray that the site still exists, prey that the original things were there and check the date, then I'll have to do the same with the other girl until I manage to hit the jackpot and get two images that are good, show the girl well and are from the same time period, I could be lucky enough to get the pictures on first try, or unlucky enough to spend hours searching for pictures, it it was just 1, then sure i would have done it, but is doing this for 10 different pairs of girls if I was lucky, because is perfectly possible to not find pictures from the same time period and then I'd have to go and search for another pair of girls and start all over.

You say there is no tease, well, that's entirely subjective, in my opinion this is more of a tease than an erotic novel with pictures that all they ask from you is click on next until you reach the end with an occasional "stroke now", "edge now"...

I know quiz-like teases don't appeal to every one and I agree with you that the score might even be too high, tbh I did not expected it to be my highest rated tease so far, I don't think it is that good, when I publish a tease my only thought is "please don't get rated so low that it gets hidden".

To make it fun.
If you want a quiz, make it something people can know.
If you want it to be about falling short, make that have consequences.

A tease is a game and one way to look at the core of hand design is considering the following aspects.
Challenge
Incentive
Progress

How do you implement these?
Challenge isn't there because I'm not challenged. I can't win.
Multiple choice like the ages is pure gambling and at least I can play that game.
But a name? I can't even attempt to play that part of the game without a severe porn addiction and am interest in learning names.

Incentive?
No idea if there was any.
Not while playing the games.
The intro and finish might contain those to some extent but I didn't feel like winning mattered during the games.

Progress
Could I get better or am I working towards a goal?
If there was a score tally and maybe a minimum to reach, that would indicate some progress.


I honestly think you should start design with a gameplay loop and build from there.
That gameplay loop was missing here.

Many other teases are just stories but they at least follow the form of a story.
You advertise the tease as a game but don't provide the gameplay loop of a game.
And the intro seem to follow the story-tease format but once the games start that drops away as well.

I only did the quiz part, so that's all I can talk about.
First of all I do like the concept of a quiz like this, but I think some of the already mentioned citicism is justified. Maybe the discription is just a bit misleading. The exams are there but where is the teaching part in this "school"?

I would have liked to have a training part, because I personally don't know every pornstar by name. I understand from your previous comments that you don't want to do that, but maybe another solution to this would have been to give a list at the start.
Maybe something like: "here is a list of porstars that I want you to study very meticulously"...
Or you could give a list of videos featuring your top 10 without disclosing wich pornstars you're gonna ask about exactly.
That way the first quiz could have been a larger one, with rounds. Starting with the full face included round, and when succeeding at that going on to the nude but no face and then to the other two.
I know that having a list beforehand would make the first round quite easy, but it would be more fair/ give better chances for the other rounds. (fun fact: I found Riley in all 4 rounds and Abella in 3 of them . But I was totally clueless for pretty much all the other pictures in the later rounds.)
The Height quiz was okay and I liked the moans one. But the age quiz was just a bit lame. with the age gaps being so small it's basicly impossible...

I'm not saying this to burn you down, but you did ask for constructive criticism.

That was never meant to exist, what's the point of a test to check the level of porn addiction if I tell the answers beforehand? That might work if the idea of the tease is a completely different one, the idea of this is based on what my country does in highschools, where each year at the beginning of the school year the students have to do a "level test" to check their knowledge level and see where each student weak points are so teachers know how to help them better, and the thing about those tests is that they are impossible to prepare for because no one knows what will they ask because the idea is to see how well can people perform without any preparation, and this tease is made with the same idea on mind, I could have done it as a TV contest thing, but the humiliation part I thought would work better if it was in an academic setting and also is simpler to make.

Well, I mean, on the first test the girls are always the same 10, so if you manage to get the names on easy difficulty there you have it, you have a complete list of names, all you need is to put each name on the correct girl, and really the only real hard test is the feet one, but is designed to be hard, and if you paid attention on lower difficulties, based on skin tone, some marks, shape, age... you can get almost all pretty fast.

The thing about the height test is that is really absurdly hard on purpose, because, by design, it's only hard the first time, after that you can ace it every single time, I literally tell you the answer after you select a response, I could have make it easier but in exchange not tell you which were the wrong ones, but I threw that idea away since I found that to be unnecessarily unfair and just drag the tease for longer than it should have
