Hi there.
Really happy to see a new webtease from you, I'm a big fan of "A Night at The Limping Buck".
I've checked this new webtease briefly but so far I'm very intriqued to see everything that is to see in there, great work
I'm really glad you enjoyed it! I also loved your tease that you released recently. Admittedly, I only finished and published my tease because yours inspired me to.
Teases that implement some sort of story and involve multiple characters are my all-time favorite!
Glad to hear you enjoyed it, took me a really long time to make it.
About your webtease, the only things I think could be improved were already mentioned by other users:
-Going around the city doesn't serve much purpose, it could have been a more linear webtease and it would achieve a similiar result.
-In the forest, the symbols didn't display on mobile for me, making navigation harder than it should be.
-Choices in the exam not having any impact.
I did enjoy this webtease despite these small problems and I think there is a great potential to improve it and even expand upon it:
-Since all revolves around the exam you could add more manaweaver trainers in the city that each could have a different tasks and stroking scenarios as well as new quest chains, that would expand upon the city itself and give players some replayability without changing the city and the exam too much.
-The Forest could be expanded to take into account new trials from new manaweavers.
-Since you've already shown encounters in the forest having alternate dialogues on repeated encounters, how about putting this mechanic into the exam, that way the exam would have more interesting repercussions for failing, for example having to hold a lot of long edges later if you fail a lot.
To not be just critical of your great work, here are some things I greatly enjoyed and I think they will influence my future works:
-Using metronome as an indicator when to edge, very creative, I loved it.
-Looking for the right person at a tavern and getting punished for going to the wrong one.
-The Forest in general, it was very nice and I loved that encounters had alternate dialogues as well as some of them getting progressively harder, it also didn't overstay its welcome.
