Cock Hero Beatmeter Sound

I need help finding a good sound for the beatmeter. I honestly think the default sound is a bit obnoxious, especially during slow parts, so I'm looking for a new one. I tried finding one on my own with no luck.

Any suggestions are GREATLY appreciated, as I don't want to work on anything until this is solved. Thank you!!

Hey.
I may not be in the best position to advise you on that but here is how I did it.

I used some "rim" and/or "kick" sounds, different ones depending on the music, and mixed differently depending on the music to ensure that I found a balance between it blending well into the music but also still being audible enough to not need to stare at the beatmeter.

I can't remember exactly where I downloaded them, but you can find plenty of them in online sounds libraries (free), just type rim (or kick) sounds into google (or whatever you're using).

I also used those already present in the Ableton library, because for the beats sounds and the mixing I preferred to work with Ableton, but you can change the beatmeter generator sound if you want, although I think it's one sound, so no rim+kick but one or the other.

Also I'm saying a "rim" and/or a "kick", but you can try different sound(s) I guess (pulse, snare, hat, etc...?) I don't know.

Let me know if you find what you're looking for or if you want more details.

Edit:
After a very quick check it may be possible to use several sounds in beatmeter generator.
Check the "P" box of your sound/beat track (P = mute/unmute track) then right click and choose "custom sound".
But I haven't tested it further so I can't guarantee the result.

I appreciate the advice. I’ll def play around with that and try to find a few good combos. Also, going for multiple different sounds in the beatmeter program may be easiest if you just have multiple tracks. Each can have they’re own sound and it wouldn’t be too hard to just alternate between which one you’re using.
